On March 11, 2026, 60% design plans prepared by GZA were presented to the Parks Commission and were approved to advance forward. This allows the park design plans to enter into local permitting and construction drawings with a goal of 90% design by April or May.  The goal for the project is to put the project out to bid by the end of June, 2026.
